Founded in 2011, DOSA Sports was created to debunk the myth that the “star athlete” and “valedictorian” are mutually exclusive identities – students destined for separate paths.
DOSA founder Armani Cotton — 2015 Ivy League Men’s Basketball Champion — actualized this vision when he received approval from the NCAA and Ivy League conference to market DOSA as an incoming freshman at Yale University.
Cotton built a network of D-I peers and a constituency of young student-athletes by sharing his experience navigating ‘sport’ and ‘academia’ through athletic-intellectual-balance.
From top to bottom, DOSA is a product of a shared synergy.
The current generation developing the next because sports will always be nuanced, dynamic and evolving.
The idiosyncrasies of the game are inaccessible to those who simply coach or spectate.
